Controlling the impediments in Agile / Scrum projects

There are few steps we need to take care in Agile / Scrum projects as a Scrum Master to control Impediments. They are as follows:

1) Record:

Record the impediments that come across for the product / project from the analysis phase. It will give you to calculate the deviation happens on velocity of the team and performance review.

2) Solve few at a time:

Once we know the number of impediments exist in the projects, we should try to tackle very few [not more than 2] at a time from it. Taking care of impediments alone will not boost up the team's deliverables.

3) Solution:

Find out the solution for the impediment and fix it successfully.

4) Report:

Report the impediments and it would help us for the future to track any impediments with the same signature.

5) Lessons:

Take the lessons learned from each impediment's history. Lessons learned are the most valuable things in any management methodology.
