Let us see what we should do in Define phase of Six Sigma process.

Define:

As name implies, Defining a problem in countable manner is called as Define phase. Or in other terms, "Writing the problem statement, the goal, and prioritizing it!"

This phase involved togetherness of the stakeholders of the project and define the output and outcomes of the project.

Tools of the phase:

A spreadsheet like MS Excel can be used as a tool to record or to define the problem statement of the project. Data collection of this tool can be either done by manual or by a downloadable entries.

The information of the sheet can be split into four areas such as Responsibilities, Milestones details, Duration, and Results. It can be looks as follows:
