PMP ITTO List - Part 5

Gurus,

We will see the knowledge area of Quality Management. It is the important area in the project life cycle to determine the quality of it.

Quality Management:

It is the area which includes the processes of the performing organization that determine quality policies, objectives, and responsibilities to make sure the project process satisfies the needs of the project sponsor.

It has the following processes under it:

1) Plan Quality,

2) Perform Quality Assurance, and

3) Perform Quality Control

Plan Quality: This is the process of identifying quality requirements, standards for the project.

Perform Quality Assurance: This is the process of implementing the quality assurance of the project.

Perform Quality Control: This is the process of inspecting the quality standards against the actual project to determine whether the project is adhering to it or not.
