Steps for implementing Agile across the organization

Hello Gurus,

There are some steps to be taken care while implementing Agile across the organization. They are:

1) Deciding on Agile methodology: We should determine whether we are right to choose the agile methodology for the the organization. If we are achieving the same better results using traditional methodology, we can continue doing it so.

2) Get the approval from Management: When you decided to have agile methodology in place, try to get the approval from management immediately. If management is not willing to adopt the agile methodology, the entire efforts towards the step would end up in vein.

3) Get the right mix of interested team: This is another important step while implementing agile across organization since the team is going to deliver the product finally. Try to place the best and interested resources in team to achieve the target.

4) Empower the agile team: Once you find the best resources, empower them to adopt the situation or mentor / coach them to make use of agile methodology. The agile team should be self-disciplined and self-organized one.

5) Spread the agile mantra across the company: Once you rolled out the methodology, let the entire company know that the agile methodology in place and drill them when ever they require any information and assistance to proceed with Agile methodology.
